Sure, the chattering class is, well… chattering about a “comedian” getting to interview the President-elect ahead of “real journalists.” While there is undoubtedly reason for concern about the rise of anti-intellectualism and diminution of expertise in our time, Stephen Colbert’s interview with the Bidens last evening is glorious. Colbert asks tough questions, is incisive, and elicits real candor from the President -elect and future First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden.
It just proves that broadcasting is a highly-refined skill.
I highly recommend you share these clips with friends and neighbors. I believe they are in order. The stories about Biden’s faith and Christmas celebrations are moving and heartfelt.
Enjoy!
