{"id":5979,"date":"2021-04-01T14:29:50","date_gmt":"2021-04-01T19:29:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stager.tv\/?p=5979"},"modified":"2021-04-05T12:48:22","modified_gmt":"2021-04-05T17:48:22","slug":"aint-that-peculiar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stager.tv\/?p=5979","title":{"rendered":"Ain&#8217;t That Peculiar?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In the seminal paper cowritten with George Franz, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/dailypapert.com\/computer-as-material-messing-about-with-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Computer As Material &#8211; Messing About with Time<\/a><\/strong>, Seymour Papert shares\u00a0his admiration for a David Hawkins essay,\u00a0<em>Messing About with Science.<\/em> Papert cites the Hawkins piece as inspiration for his own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <a href=\"http:\/\/constructingmodernknowledge.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Constructing Modern Knowledge<\/a> one year, I shared lunch with several of my (s)heroes, Deborah Meier, Cynthia Solomon, and Reggio Emilia approach expert, Lella Gandini. Perhaps looking for common ground, they spontaneously engaged in conversation about David Hawkins.
