Goal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design one or more quilt patches that may be combined with classmates or used to create your own screen quilts in Turtle Art<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start with these blocks. Everyone needs to use these instructions as a common starting place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each quilt project needs these fundamental building blocks<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Design a procedure named patch1<\/em> to draw a design completely within the frame and be sure that the turtle returns to where it begins with the same orientation as when the procedure started. The frame is a square with sides of 150<\/em> turtle steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extra credit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are satisfied with patch1<\/em>, design procedures for new and different quilt patches. Name them patch2, patch3,<\/em> etc\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each patch needs to begin with frame<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extreme Arts and Crafts Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create a quilt<\/em> procedure that assembles one or more of your patches into a beautiful quilt design. You are of course free to repeat the use of a patch or use a variety of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: <\/strong>color -9999<\/em> is black in Turtle Art<\/p>\n\n\n\n
